DESIGNED AROUND THE MILLIMETRE

A good fit starts
with a good measure.

Measure the finished opening, after plastering, painting or lining. Use millimetres throughout.

01 / Finished means finished.

Measure inside the opening at the surface where the insert backing will sit. Record the finished dimensions after any plaster, paint or lining. Do not subtract an assumed fitting allowance.

02 / Check more than one point.

Measure width at the top, middle and bottom. Measure height at the left, centre and right. Add these in the configurator’s advanced measurements so differences can be reviewed.

03 / Check the diagonals.

Measure between opposite corners. A difference between diagonal measurements can indicate the opening is out of square. Add the readings and any concerns in the opening notes.

04 / Capture a useful photograph.

Stand directly in front of the wall, keep your camera level and include the whole wall. Use good, even light. Avoid wide-angle distortion where possible.

05 / Leave the final allowance to review.

Your measurements inform the review; they do not automatically trigger manufacturing. We confirm the final dimensions, tolerances and any fit concerns before approval and payment.
